Bill Pay Plus Enhancements:

SCREEN SET UP.  The screen is divided into three panels. The left panel is the menu; the center panel has all of your payees and the right side shows your pending payments and the last 5 processed payments.

SETTING UP A NEW PAYEE:   Just enter the name of the payee and click "add".  Since our bill pay processor has so many merchant relationships, you may just have to add your account number.   They may have the billing address on file.

PAYMENT TYPES:  You can set up a single payment, a recurring payment, or an expedited payment.  Click on the down arrow next to the payee name and select your option.   You have many choices for recurring payments - weekly, bi-weekly, semimonthly, monthly, quarterly, twice a year, annually. 

EXPEDITED PAYMENT:  For those times when you've fogotten to make a payment and it's due tomorrow, Bill Pay Plus allows you to make an overnight payment to a merchant.   There is a $5 fee for an electronic payment and a $30 fee for an expedited check payment.   IMPORTANT:   If you are sending an expedited check payment you will need to contact the payee for mailing instructions.   The check must be mailed to a physical address - not a post office box.  

CD ROM:  You can order a CD of your bill payment history.   This will give you a permanent record of all of your payments for the prior year.  This is good for tax purposes, budgeting or to evaluate your spending habits.  The cost for a CD is $25 plus shipping.

EMAIL NOTIFICATION:   Every time you set up a new payee or a payment has been made, an email is sent to you.   This gives you all the details of the payment - when it was sent, how much, etc.

In order to protect you, MiddConn implemented a fraud monitoring service last year.  This service tracks your transactions. If anything looks out of the ordinary, it will block your card thinking the transaction is fraudulent.  Unfortunately, the system doesn't know if you have the card or if it has been stolen.

If you are going on vacation or making a purchase that is out of the norm for you, please let us know immediately. We can update the system so your vacation plans are not ruined.
