Deposit checks anytime, anywhere with Mobile Check Deposit. If you have an iPhone or an Android Smart Phone, you are just a few steps away from securely depositing checks into your account – whenever and wherever you want – no need to drive to the credit union. Just snap, click and send!
Getting Started
- Complete the application for Mobile Deposit (on-line or at the credit union)
- You will receive an email confirmation once you’re approved for Mobile Deposit
- Download our Mobile Banking App (available in ITunes or Google Play Stores); if you already have it be sure to get the updated version
- Make a deposit using your phone.
- Log-in to your account
- From the Menu, select Deposit
- Follow the deposit instructions
- Snap a picture of the front and back of your check
- Click deposit
- You’ve just Sent your check to the credit union and saved yourself a trip!
Do I qualify for Mobile Check Deposit?
- You have to be 18 years or older
- Must be a member for at least 6 months
- Never caused us a loss
- Be enrolled in Online Banking
- Must have a MiddConn checking account
- And accepted the Terms and Conditions of the Mobile Deposit Agreement
How do I endorse my check for deposit?
First
- write “For deposit only MiddConn Mobile” on the back of your check
- Sign your check
- Then snap a picture of the check and submit for deposit
Second
- After you’ve submitted your check write “mobile deposit” and the date on the front of the check
- Save your original check for 45 days and then destroy it to ensure it is not re-presented for payment
What types of checks cannot be deposited through Mobile Check Deposit?
- Checks stamped “non-negotiable or “this is not a check”
- Foreign checks
- Photocopies of checks
- Incomplete checks
- Stale or Post Dated Checks
- Savings Bonds
- Third Party Checks made payable to someone other than yourself
- Checks with a restrictive endorsement
- Checks previously submitted for deposit
- Checks that are remotely created
- Checks showing evidence of alteration
- Traveler’s Checks
